Independent developer and publisher Gaijin Entertainment announced the open beta launch of its award-winning MMO WWII simulator, War Thunder, on the NVIDIA® SHIELD™ Android TV, which launches today in the United States and Canada. This cutting-edge technology allows for complete cross-compatibility among already supported platforms, including PC, PlayStation®4, Mac and Linux. Powered by the revolutionary NVIDIA Tegra® X1 processor, the new NVIDIA SHIELD device provides War Thunder players access to more than 400 military planes from the WWII and Korean War eras and provides a highly realistic aerial battle experience. Further enhancing the game experience, the SHIELD Controller offers high-precision gaming response.
